so after i upgrade my system lightdm cannot start it keeps trying to start but it cannot and i see a messeges like kauditd_printk_skb: 1- callbacks suppressed
idk i just wanna change some settings i guess
is there an intel graphics control panel for archlinux i heard there are some like driconf but im not sure
hey just wanna say i found the exact version but in pentium4 and it works thanks for your help !
and when i uname -a
[athaya@ItsCraftArch i686]$ uname -a
Linux ItsCraftArch 5.14.16-arch1-1.0 #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri, 05 Nov 2021 05:37:24 +0000 i686 GNU/Linux
[athaya@ItsCraftArch i686]$
it says that i use i686 arch and it dosent make sense if i cannot install i686 packages in i686 machine and i can only install pentium4 packages
so for example i tried to install x-cpu i686 release
and yeah
[athaya@ItsCraftArch i686]$ sudo pacman -U cpu-x-3.1.3-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz
loading packages...
error: failed to prepare transaction (package architecture is not valid)
:: package cpu-x-3.1.3-1-i686 does not have a valid architecture
[athaya@ItsCraftArch i686]$
btw i wanna ask why can't i install i686 packages but my arch is i686
so what i should use that packages ?
oh ok so im confused so what do you think i should do
and this what happen if i want to uninstall mesa
[athaya@ItsCraftArch Downloads]$ sudo pacman -Rsn mesa
checking dependencies...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: removing mesa breaks dependency 'mesa' required by gst-plugins-base-libs

Actually i downgrade mesa because when i run games like counter strike 1.6 it feels so lag so do you have any alternative for that
so i can install the libvdpau but i cannot install mesa because it was already installed and when i want to uninstall it mesa was used by other packages so i cannot
so yeah how do i install older version
oh nevermind it just need reboot
ok so i install blueman too but when i start blueman it just crashed how do i fix that
wow thanks it works
first sorry for my bad english
so yeah i have a laptop that have a bluetooth but i dont know how to use it in archlinux
You mean to show it every time you boot? As far as I know it should do that by default, unless perhaps if you've configured a boot logo. Or if you mean grab it so you can look at it in a text editor or something, as far as I've been told, you can't get it like that. The closest you can get is dmesg but that hasn't got the [ok] lines.
oh nope nevermind i already got the tutorial on reddit
so im sorry if its wrong topic so yeah i want to show the boot log like kernel [OK] because its looks cool
