Edit: Am at least 7 more screens full of this and it's STILL not done. I've supposedly now imported the same keys hundreds of times. It used to be I'd have to manually import a couple of keys - never before anything as unbelievable as this.

Re: PGP Keys During Upgrades

Can't reproduce here, I'm afraid.  How long is it since you last updated?  I remember getting a bunch of key revocations and new ones about a month ago from memory, but that was only about three screens maximum and completed within a few minutes on my hardware.

Also, I'm not sure why it's asking you about every key.  I do updates with '-Syu' normally and it just does them with those flags.

Architecture: pentium4, Testing repos: Yes, Hardware: EeePC 901+2GB RAM+OS half on the SD card.

Re: PGP Keys During Upgrades

It's been a few days - maybe a week, tops - since the last update. I ran into a slightly less severe version of this the last time I updated - a dozen or so vs. a few hundred. For a long time I would have to confirm a couple of keys, then that went away for a while and there were none to confirm, then this. I always do command-line updates on this system, which is headless - -Syyu.

You'll also notice that it's the same 2 or 3 keys I had to confirm a few hundred times.

Re: PGP Keys During Upgrades

This is truely odd.
Can you post your /etc/pacman.d/gnupg/gpg.conf (if existent) and possibly also upload /etc/pacman.d/gnupg/pubring.gpg somewhere?

Re: PGP Keys During Upgrades

I take it it's also saying a new copy of archlinux32-keyring is downloadable every time before it prints these messages?

Re: PGP Keys During Upgrades

one thing I can think of which might cause this:
Is your system time far off?
