"Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (5.15.14)"

hi! some time ago some qt programs like dolphin and vlc stopped working on my laptop after some update and running them from the console returns

Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (5.15.14) with this library (5.15.16)
Aborted (core dumped)

looking this up i find results mainly suggesting to rebuild qt5-styleplugins, but i have done this and the same error still persists. i noticed that there is no 32bit specific build for this package. also its from 2017. looking at the comments under this package on aur.archlinux.org, one comment from 2024 says that it's outdated and to use qt5gtk2 instead, but that didn't work either.

i cannot find any other solution that will work (but it's not like i know what i'm doing). do i just wait until the packages get updated? does anyone else have this problem?

Re: "Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (5.15.14)"

qt5-styleplugins was dropped to the AUR (this explains, why there is no package anymore). I have some qt5 packages around
for some old software, but rebuilding it gets harder and harder. Just now I had to add a gpgme1 package to the AUR to make
qgpgme-qt5 and trojita happy.
