pacman -Syu - doesn't work - PGP key problem

Hello, how can i get the new keys?

There is a magic incantation to preresolve any key issues.  I think it's to do a 'pacman-key --refresh-keys' but I'm just trying that out on my live system presently, so wish me luck!

Edit: Hmm, that seemed to be working then froze for a good half an hour, so I ended up killing it.  The good news is that hasn't broken my key checking in pacman, although it did seem to take a long time to do it this time.  So all in, I don't think it's the right thing to do after all.

doesn't solved my problem.

Not myself.  As I say above, it didn't work well enough for me either to recommend it as a way forward.

Actually, you could just try updating archlinux32-keying first as a partial upgrade before bringing everything back together with a -Syu.

# pacman -S archlinux32-keyring
# pacman -Syu

That should be safe enough to try out and shouldn't hurt.

The keyring package should contain reasonable recent keys. If that fails for some reason (e.g. "invalid" signature on the keyring package itself), one can refresh the keys directly from https://archlinux32.org/buildmaster/gpg-keys.php

curl 'https://archlinux32.org/buildmaster/gpg-keys.php?fp=16194A82231E9EF823562181C8E8F5A0AF9BA7E7' | pacman-key --import

note, that not all keys there are package sign keys - some are master keys, some are release signing keys, some are keys to communicate with the buildmaster. One needs to check which key needs to be updated, first.

Sry, I gave you the wrong options for pacman-key (the given ones work with 

gpg --homedir /etc/pacman.d/gnupg

, but that's the hackish solution) - the correct cmd line is

curl 'https://archlinux32.org/buildmaster/gpg-keys.php?fp=16194A82231E9EF823562181C8E8F5A0AF9BA7E7' | sudo pacman-key -a -

P.S.: it is recommended to prepend "LC_ALL=C" to the failing commands to get error messages in english, so there are more people that can help with the issue wink
