Will this distribution have packages for the x86_64 platform?

Re: i686 only?

This distribution is a fork of archlinux which dropped support for i686 in begin of November (they did, we didn't). We continue to provide i686 packages from archlinux. If you're looking for x86_64 packages, then you will be pleased with archlinux.

Re: i686 only?

Will we build and host packages for x86_64?
As far as I am aware, there are not any plans to do so. That's what the upstream archlinux is for.

We will, however, attempt to build as many of the packages in upstream arch for i686 as we can.

Re: i686 only?

Ah, now I notice, that it's ambiguous what I wrote - just to clarify:
rewbycraft is right - We do not and most probably will never provide x86_64 packages - we only provide i686 packages, which archlinux dropped support for. (The only reason I can think of to provide x86_64 packages is, when x86_128 becomes the norm and archlinux drops support for x86_64, because only few devs and users have hardware running that wink )

Re: i686 only?

In that case we have to rename the project to Archlinux64. ;-)
