It can. :-)
My plan is to rebuild all mingw stuff with some old binaries, some of them dating back before the sub-architecture split into i486/i686/pentium4. As all three run on
a 64-bit machine in a chroot (thanks to Intel for backwards compatibility), they will work. I'll add them to build-support temporarily (this also means, I have to
be able to add things in an official way to build-support, not things which are known to the buildmaster database, this is likely TODO#465 ;-) ).
But everything takes a while (and weather is nice, so the chances of finding me on a bike rather than in front of a keyboard, are quite high)..
