[SOLVED] tor broken by update yesterday

The most diagonstic error I can find in my journal is

tor[5573]: /usr/bin/tor: symbol lookup error: /usr/bin/tor: undefined symbol: evutil_secure_rng_add_bytes

Tor itself doesn't come with any libraries. I can't guess from the name what other library said symbol is meant to come from.

My update touched iptables and nftables and a fair few libs including libevent.

This sounds like a missing symbol from libevent, let me rebuild tor..

Yes, a rebuilt tor seems to have done the trick.  Thanks for the prompt patch.
