Pretty normal installation from USB, rather onto the SD card than onto the internal soldered SSD.

For the 'eeepc_laptop' kernel module to load you have to set 'acpi_osi=Windows'. I experienced
lately ACPI storms driving 'systemd-udev' and 'acpi kernel workers' up way beyond 50% CPU
and/or system time.

Vertical stripes on the external VGA turned out to be a defective power supply (not the original
one anymore).
