Absolutely no problem to install. Just the 'gdth' driver has to be added to MODULES in '/etc/mkinitcpio.conf'.

Wth 'ncurses5-compat-libs' even the RAID tool 'icpcon' works like a charm:

Enjoy the simplicity and usability of a Turbo Vision like text based BIOS while it lasts,
everything which came afterwards is close to a disaster (personal opinion).

The gdth driver was removed in 5.12:

So I'm stuck now with a 5.11.x kernel.. :-)

5.10 is the current LTS kernel with the longest current projected lifespan.  Might do you for this.

Yeah, but a new LTS kernel will soon not have gdth in it, till then the driver code has bit-rotted. So this renders
this server useless (by software). The only alternative is to start to maintain the gdth code..

There is a point in the future, where we still have 32-bit binaries, but the Linux kernel threw out all support
for older hardware, which again renders Archlinux32 somewhat pointless. To be fair, gdth-based servers are
around 15-20 years old, so nobody most likely cares. :-)
